Assistant Manager & Manager

Job Location: Remote (Permanent Work From Home)

Salary: 12-20 Lpa (As per experience)

Experience: 10+ Years

We are looking for a manager that can lead this new team to success. We’ll be looking for the following characteristics during our search for you.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Drive the development, adaptation and implementation of the Underwriting Team
2. Drive daily production including monitoring bottlenecks and reporting, on daily progress as it relates to production targets
3. Gather and discuss monthly key performance indicators (KPIs), manage results & propel improvement
4. Monitor capacity and coverage, promote culture, conduct check-ins with direct reports & People Operations
5. Monitor potential escalations and maintaining department service level agreements (SLA)
6. Push continued education of the organization; work with OpE (Operations Enablement) to develop

Experience :

1. 10+ years of experience in underwriting FNMA, FHLMC, FHA (Conventional/Non Conventional Loans)
2. Need to have minimum 4 Years Management experience in papers
3. Should have through understanding on 4C,S in Underwriting
4. Prior experience managing mid to large size team (more than 20 FTE)
5. Knowledge of agency underwriting product guidelines
6. Familiarity with Desktop Underwriter (DU) & Loan Product Advisor (LPA)
7. Strong communication, organization, and time management skills
8. Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently
