Responsibilities of IT Procurement Specialist:
. Good vendor network in the Market for IT goods and services required for the business
· Identify suppliers of goods and services, has a database of suppliers in the Market
· Onboarding of vendors after due diligence & maintain proper vendor check
· Negotiate terms with suppliers such as price, quality of goods, deadlines, Terms & conditions, etc.
· Liaise with suppliers regarding updates & supply of goods & services
· Create purchase orders or service agreements and tally these with purchase requests, delivery challans,
· Analyze Invoices to ensure accuracy of goods delivered & PO Terms
· Ensure the goods or services reach the purchase requestor
· Attend meetings with the legal department to ensure any contractual obligations are favorable to the company
· Work closely with the business & other departments to understand details of procurement requirements, ensure delivers what is required
· Conduct quarterly/semi-annual vendor evaluation checks
· Works & serves other departments as per TAT & SLAs set by the Management
Qualifications for Procurement Specialist
. Proven 5+ years of experience as a procurement specialist in IT area is required
· Master degree in a related field preferred
· Additional certification in the field of procurement desired
· Connections to vendor networks in the market
· Strong knowledge of the industry and market conditions
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Impeccable negotiation and problem-solving skills
· Exceptional interpersonal skills and rapport building
· Flexible to work as per company hours as demanded by projects
· Able to travel to meet vendors and suppliers as necessary
