Core Skill Requirements:
● Developing Linux device drivers.
● Linux Kernel programming.
● Familiar with the Linux kernel community.
● Familiarity with one or more of the architecture communities is a plus.
● Programming proficiency in the “C” language is required.
● Developing device drivers and/or system software.
● Trouble-shooting HW device level problems is a plus.
● Proficiency in assembly (x86, ARM, MIPS, or PPC), is strongly desired
● Strong expertise in using GDB and crash tool for debugging and analyzing kernel
and userspace core dumps
● Good understanding of virtualization, virtual partitions (VMs), concurrent/live
updates, live VM migration etc.
● Proficient in Git for efficient development, patch management, and branch
handling.
● Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration tools.
● Knowledge of Go programming language is an added advantage.
● Good analysis and problem-solving skills.
● Ability to define problems, issues and opportunities, analyze data, establish facts,
and draw valid conclusions from various datasets.
● Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Soft Skill Requirements:
● Effective interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.
● Inherent sense of urgency and accountability.
● Must demonstrate initiative and a bias for thoughtful action.
● Grounded, detail-oriented, always backs up ideas with facts.
